Dr. Shane Alborz Interview

I am delighted to present a conversation that I had with Dr. Shane Alborz. Dr. Alborz, or as I know him, "The Homie Shane." Shane is a longtime friend, mentor, and guru. He is also a Doctor of Chiropractic care from Life Chiropractic College West. Shane and I talk about how he became a chiropractor, the connection between body, mind, and spirit, holistic health, controlling your environment, and much much more. I could talk with Shane about this stuff for hours upon hours. Consider this your introduction to one of my favorite minds; we'll definitely be continuing these conversations later.

We had some slight audio hiccups; we beg your pardon and hope that you enjoy regardless.

Nabih Numair Interview

I am pleased to bring you a delightful conversation with one of my Krav Maga training partners, Nabih Numair. Nabih and I trained together at the Academy of Self Defense in Santa Clara, California, where he was a great fountain of knowledge and one of my most frightening sparring partners. In addition to being a Krav Maga badass, Nabih is a lifetime security professional, with experience in the Marine Corps and Gavin de Becker & Associates. We discuss personal protection, martial arts, active shooter scenarios, leadership, and Nabih's (successful!) battle against cancer. I really enjoyed this discussion and hope that you will too.

Alex Fischer Interview

I am excited to bring you a discussion with my best friend and constant inspiration, Alex Fischer. Alex is a fellow Santa Clara University graduate, a professional aerospace engineer, and a spiritual guru to me. I was excited to talk with Alex about some subjects that have been on my mind as of late: What is science? What is religion? How can we best understand our place in reality? I discuss faith, science, space, and spirituality with one of my favorite people, The Fischer King, Alex Fischer. Enjoy.

Chris Kron Interview

We're back with the second episode of the Modern-Day Renaissance Man Podcast, talking to Chris Kron, Santa Clara University's head rugby coach while I was playing on that team. Chris would go on to be my manager and colleague at Egnyte, where he taught me a lot about sales and leadership in a business context. We had a great talk about rugby, coaching, managing a team, and creating/leading a community.

Some audio issues as my internet slowed or dropped. Still figuring out this podcasting thing, but really happy with the conversation that Chris and I had here. Enjoy!

Mestrando Mago Interview

Hello Justice Team,

Please find the first Modern-Day Renaissance Man podcast with Mestrando Mago of Capuraginga. We discuss his background in magic, the power of story, running a business, and building a community. Also, the extent to which someone can teach themselves something, what money means, leadership, and more. Lots on capoeira, specifically: Is it a cult?
